Morzine bars
The bars provide great entertainment after your meal, each with a different atmosphere to suit whatever mood you are in. Some are typically French, and others are geared up towards the tourists and seasonnaires trade, but the drinks are reasonably priced.
Most bars are open all day throughout the peak seasons. Some late night bars open at 4pm ready for après ski customers and stay open through until 2am. Le Crepu, Cavern, Le Rhodos, Le Dixie, Le Coyote, Irish Bar, and Buddha Bar are popular late night bars. Most of the bars have plasma screens showing skiing or snowboarding DVDs and some have sport screens showing big sporting matches. Le Garage is a popular busy bar during the winter season and is home to different DJs and live music.
Apres ski bars are plentiful in Morzine both in the town and up the mountain. Bar Robinson is a popular traditional bar/cafe in the centre of town open all day until 8pm. Many of the après ski bars have happy hours between 5pm and 7pm enticing visitors to sample the infamous Mutzig beer amongst other drinks.
Trendy après ski bars up the mountain include Le Pas du Lac 'Chez Flo' in Avoriaz, Les Lhottys, Col de Ranfolly, Les Cretes des Zorre, Super Morzine, Chez Nannon, Nyon, and L'Atray des Neiges, Pleney.
If you are looking to continue the partying long into the night there are two nightclubs in Morzine, Le Paradis, and L'Opera. Both are busy during the winter months and stay open until approximately 5am. But be warned, drinks can be very expensive.
